Katoski 2015
April 19, 2015 Leave your thoughtsSpring is coming to Katoski Greenway, Waterloo IA. The spring beauties have peaked. Violets (some white) are becoming more numerous. The tens of tousands of Virginia Blueballs are the stars, and they are starting. Trout Lillies have begun. More varieties will follow.
The next week or two will be a spectacular parade of flowers. Enter the Blue Zones experience of woodland flowers in spring. Park on the south side of Ridgeway, and walk south through the riverbottom woodlands.
